Rafting Lower MISAHUALLÍ Class IV

Rafting Lower MISAHUALLÍ Class IV

The Misahuallí River rises in the wetlands of the eastern part of a Ecuadorian Amazon, at the top you can see a very narrow river with many stones, but where began the journey becomes a big river, as it is fed by tributaries of Tena, Pano, Cup, Soot and Jondachi rivers, is very technical because its water level can be very variant. It is considered a Class IV river is very turbulent but predictable white waters and waves up to two meters, considerable eddies for a boat, the descent requires very good physical and technical condition. There are narrow passages that require complicated maneuvers that our guides handled it perfectly. The route starts in Ongota 5 minutes from Tena, the tour lasts about 6 hours, it is one of our most comprehensive tours, because in the middle of the route should be performed portage (must get off the boat and walk) passengers will a walk of about 15 minutes through the jungle near the river to get to the next point where you have to perform rappelling and descending…
