Tour Details
  • With this tour you will do everything in only one-day experience!
  • You can choose more adrenaline by picking the Class III: Jatun Yacu River, or an easier and softer Class II: Napo river.
  • Guided visit to our Aquatic Safari where everyone can enjoy. We start our adventure visiting a beautiful lagoon, where we can see countless birds, some monkeys and other species from a non-motorized canoe.
  • During this trip, we can jump into the water, swim, float on the raft. You’ll have fun, guaranteed!
  • After that, we will start a short walk (5 min) to observe the Giant Ceibo Tree of the community of Pununo.
  • We will know how chocolate is prepared in the Amazon of Ecuador, we will visit a farm where the cacao is planted, then we will help the community prepare a delicious chocolate dessert to taste!

Departure & Return Location

1. Kayak Ecuador Home Base (Teniente Hugo Ortiz Street | Panamericana E-45, next to the fireman station). Archidona – Napo, Ecuador.

2. Hotel pickup (Tena/Archidona)
– All our tours depart from Kayak Ecuador home base or pickup directly from your hotel.
– At the end of the tour we will drop you off at you hotel (Tena/Archidona) or finish in Kayak Ecuador Home Base*.
* Depending on your hotel location, extra charges might apply.

What to Expect

Welcome to our complete RAFTING and JUNGLE experience! With this tour you will do everything in only one-day experience!

First, we start with WHITEWATER RAFTING, you can choose more adrenaline by picking the Class III section of our beautiful Jatun Yacu River, or an easier and softer Class II section and enjoy the landscape in the amazing Napo river. No matter what, you will be surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the Amazon Jungle.

After our exciting half day of rafting, we will have a delicious lunch!

Then, be prepared to be AMAZED BY THE WILDLIFE of the Jungle! We will have a guided visit to our Aquatic Safari where everyone can enjoy. We start our adventure visiting a beautiful lagoon, where we can see countless birds, some monkeys and other species from a non-motorized canoe.

After that, we will start a short walk (5 min) to observe the Giant Ceibo Tree of the community of Pununo.

To finish, we will know how chocolate is prepared in the Amazon of Ecuador, we will visit a farm where the cacao is planted, then we will help the community prepare a delicious chocolate dessert to taste!

Geographic Information: The Jatun Yacu River is 45 minutes from the city of Tena in the Llanganates National Park.

Nunca pensé que fuera una actividad tan divertida. Los guías sin duda hicieron la diferencia. Transmiten su energía y pasión por lo que hacen. Me sentí tranquila porque además de tener un buen equipo demostraron su experticia durante todo el viaje. Gran paisaje, se tomaron el tiempo de que hicieramos paradas para apreciar el lugar, nos enseñaron todo lo que sabían sobre los alrededores, nos hicieron reir, gritar, y conocer y logramos unas fotos espectaculares. La comida super rica. No exagero al decir que fue un 10/10.
