Departure & Return Location

1. Kayak Ecuador Home Base (Teniente Hugo Ortiz Street | Panamericana E-45 – 600m from the Jumandy Caverns from north to south, in front of the “Yanayacu” bus stop). Archidona – Napo, Ecuador. Location.

2. Hotel pickup (Tena/Archidona)

– All our tours depart from Kayak Ecuador home base or pickup directly from your hotel.
– At the end of the tour we will drop you off at you hotel (Tena/Archidona) or finish in Kayak Ecuador Home Base*.
* Depending on your hotel location, extra charges might apply.

What to bring

  • Shirt o T-shirt: Quick dry preferably (NOT COTTON)

  • Shoes / closed toe shoes: Light hikes, anti-slip styling, keep in mind that they will get wet, that do not come off easily.

What to Expect
Our half day rafting adventure in the Jatun Yacu river is perfect if you don’t have the time or simply don’t want to spend the whole day rafting. You can live a quick and exciting adrenaline rush in a beautiful river in the Amazon region.

 

With the half day adventure, we make sure to take you through the most exciting parts of the river. During this trip, we get to stop and swim in the beautiful and warmer Iluculin river and relax on the beach where the Jatun Yacu and Iluculin rivers converge. Although this is a half day experience, there is no shortage of beautiful nature that can be seen during the entire experience.

 

The lush jungle on both sides of the river, the sounds of Amazonian birds, and the view of the mountains in the distance, leaves you with an appreciation and memory of this beautiful region.
