Enjoy the rafting expedition to the Jatun Yacu & Napo river! These 2 days of paddling in the middle of the jungle will make you feel alive. Our camping night is based in a local Kichwa community located in an island called “Shandia”.

1. Kayak Ecuador Home Base (Teniente Hugo Ortiz Street | Panamericana E-45, next to the fireman station). Archidona – Napo, Ecuador.

2. Hotel pickup (Tena/Archidona)
– All our tours depart from Kayak Ecuador home base or pickup directly from your hotel.
– At the end of the tour we will drop you off at you hotel (Tena/Archidona) or finish in Kayak Ecuador Home Base*.
* Depending on your hotel location, extra charges might apply.

  • Shoes / closed toe shoes: Light hikes, anti-slip styling, keep in mind that they will get wet, that do not come off easily.

What to Expect

Experience the entire Jatun Yacu River on a 2-day and 1-night trip. We will start with a tour of the most beautiful natural pools in the province of Napo, then we’ll start the Rafting!

The first night we will camp on the beautiful beach of the Kichwa community of Shandia; there, we will have the opportunity to know a little more about their culture and customs. That night, we will have a delicious barbecue in the middle of the jungle.

The second day, we will continue our descent and raft for about 5 more hours until we reach the beautiful little town of Pto. Misahuallí. There, we will have time to see some crazy monkeys and other local charms.

Geographic Information: The Napo River is born from the junction of the Jatun Yacu River and the Anzu River, 20 minutes away from the city of Tena.

Con más de 20 años de experiencia en el rafting, nuestros grupos miradas Untird las expectativas eran altas. Y esta compañía entregado! ! ! Seguridad era la prioridad número uno, y la diversión era el segundo. Nos navegable una sección de clase III, pero aquí los ríos son un volumen alto, así que era más como un III+. Nos acogieron de nosotros, siempre comida fabulosa y tenía unas historias. Se discutieron la flora local, la historia y la cultura de la gente. Estos chicos saben los ríos, y saben cómo bajar de forma segura con la máxima diversión! Esperamos mostrar la misma amabilidad en Colorado algún día. Mejores guías nunca!
